Forgive me for chopping off this young lady’s leg and for providing too much concrete foreground, but I was at a red light and anything can happen.
Proof: I saw a tire FALL OFF A MOVING CAR, bounce across two lanes of traffic, hit ANOTHER moving car, then RETURN FROM WHENCE IT CAME before finally falling over. All that, just north of Melrose during evening rush hour. It was BONKERS. If you see me in real life, please remind me to tell this story. That’s basically all of it, but it’s my new favorite thing after my Herschel backpack.
All that’s within you is all that you need. This statement is so true I can hardly believe I read it on a Los Angeles billboard. Even the person finishing his soda from In-n-Out (see abundant foreground) had to pause and reflect. And his reflection time was so moving he forgot his drink. That’s how good this message is.
But truthfully, we do have what we need. We have plenty. Abundance is the way of the universe. It’s our abundant lack of faith that holds us back.
For example, me in this new job. Do I have a grip on it? Barely. Mostly it’s like being surrounded by Olympic swimmers while I make a big deal (in my head) about getting my Swimmies on all by myself.
But I tell myself I can figure it the hell out. And then I do. Because when it comes down to it, I already have everything--the raw ability, the awareness, the Post-Its--I need. And so do you.
In fact, we don’t even require the coconut water Zico is hawking. Sure, we’re supposed to fill up on it and then be good to go.
But everyone knows Viva Coco is where it’s at.
And water’s the best thing you can drink.
See my point?
