years after the fact, i still cannot hear "air marshall" without thinking of this scene from "Bridesmaids":
with that out of the way, here's a great interview with Guy Praisler, CEO of Dine Market but formerly an air marshall with El Al, the Israeli airline. patrolling the skies taught him valuable business lessons. these are my two favorites:
- awareness of everything, but a focus on what's important
- the ability to imagine multiple outcomes. not to drive you crazy, but so when problems arise you're already looking to solutions.
